Abderrahmen ("Abde") Mtibaa, Ph.D., is currently an Assistant Professor of
Department of Computer Science at
the University of Missouri-Saint Louis (UMSL). He is also currently occupying the position of Director of the cybersecurity program at UMSL.
Prior to that he has
occupied several research positions such as a visiting assistant
professor at the Computer Science department in New Mexico
State University (NMSU), a Research
Scientist at Texas A&M University, and a Postdoctoral
Research Associate in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
During his PhD. studies, at the Sorbonne University (Paris, France), he worked closely with Christophe
Diot & Martin May (Technicolor Paris Research Lab).
Information-Centric Networking, Networked Systems, Social Computing, Cyber Security, Privacy, IoT, mobile computing, pervasive systems, mobile security, mobile opportunistic networks/DTN, wireless and Ad-hoc networks, mobility models, protocol design, routing/forwarding, network communities and social networking.
